Let's Live Christmas

It's winter and the wind buffets against our faces.
It's cold and we seek warm places.

A cheerful mug of something hot.
A cozy fire that crackles nostalgically a lot.

Puddles by the door where snow has melted off of boots.
A bowl of soup that because of the weather, suits.

Children play in coat and glove and when they get
too cold they come in to the warmth of family love.

Holiday carols ring in every room while children wait
for Christmas that can not come too soon.

Sleds are dug out and toboggans too. Snow keeps falling
and everyone hopes it'll be a white Christmas and not blue.

A tree trimmed, illuminated by lights, colored or white you
can see them from outside the house at night.

Gifts are place under the tree and you can hear immediately
"I hope this one is for me."

But the happiest about it all are not those who receive but
rather are the givers who in Jesus believe.

The key to Christmas is knowing the Savior, the joy of
His birth as the gift of God's Son which in the heart can
change everyone....If not for a season but for a day because
giving joy to the world is God's plan and way.

Even without the snow, and the icicles, the making of snow
angels, the receiving and the giving from all angles,
the season, the decorations and all the preparations, Jesus
is God's Son and everyday should still be praised as the
King of kings and the Ancient of Days, the Lord of lords and
the only way that Peace, Joy and Love can always in our
heart stay.

Love God first and not another and then love your family,
your neighbor and your brother.

God by his Son created and the Son mediates as He has
for generations mediated between God and man so all will
know the love of God for man below. Born to be a sacrifice
to cleanse us from our sins we must open our hearts and let
Him in as Savior of the world and each of us within.

Cherish the joy of Christmas and uphold and praise Him
who came as a child who grew up and died to do away
with the distance, to reign in our hearts and of our lives
be a part not only for recognition but as a giver of His
precious salvation!

Merry Christmas to everyone as we celebrate Jesus' birthday.
May he be born in the hearts as into the world that special day.
