Peanut Butter Bars
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c quick-cooking rolled oats
- 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 c. peanuts or other nuts, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Cream together: margarine, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and
vanilla
- Add oats, flour, soda and salt
- Stir in peanuts and raisins
- Pat mixture evenly into a greased 9" baking pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool in pan.
- Cut into bars
