
Nanaimo Bars
1. Cook until thick
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 1/2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt
2. Mix separetly
- 2 1/2 cups graham crumbs 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
- 1 cup coconut
3. Mix first and second mixtures together
- This is the crust
- press into 9 inch x 9 inch pan.
4. Mix
- 1/4 cup cooled melted butter
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 3 tbsp milk
- Set for 15 min. in fridge
5. Finally
- Spread on the pie crust mixture.
- Melt 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate and 1 tbsp of butter
- pour over top.
6. Chill till set.
