Impossible French Apple Pie


  • 6 C sliced pared tart apples
  • 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. Mix apples and spices in greased pie plate (10 x 2 inch)
  3. Beat remaining ingredients with wire whisk or hand beater until almost smooth about 1 minute
  4. Pour into plate over apples

STREUSEL

  1. Mix 1 C Bisquick baking mix
  2. 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  3. 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  4. 3 tbsp firm butter or margarine until crumbly
  5. Place on top of pie

  • Bake until knife inserted in centre comes out clean 60 to 70 minutes cool
  • Top with whipped cream.
