Hot Bean Salad
Cook beans and celery together in a small amount of boiling water until tender-crisp, about 8 minutes. Drain. Add chives or green onions and toss lightly with a fork. Cook bacon in a small skillet until crisp while vegetable are cooking. Remove from heat. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Pour over beans and celery. Toss lightly with a fork. Serve immediately. (serves 4) |
