
Dutch Spiced Cookies
Makes 3 dozen

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 2-3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/3 cup milk
Directions
- Cream margarine, brown sugar and egg.
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with milk
- Knead dough with floured hands until smooth
- Chill at least 4 hours
- Roll out to thin dough on floured surface
- Cut into shapes or use cookie press
- bake on greased cookie sheets 10-12 minutes
