Paper Tree

Here's a fun craft, an historically traditional Christmas craft. Use your imagination, perhaps use something other than a newspaper such as the funny papers. Dress up you tree with glitter.

1. Roll up sheets of newspaper continually gluing their ends together. Using about eight sheets, make a tight tube. Put a rubber band around one end of the tube. Cut three slits in the tube. Each slit should be about 2/3 as long as the tube.
2. Bend down the three parts into which the tube has been divided.
3. By putting your forefinger into the tube and pulling gently upwards, the tree is completed.
