On the way home James thought about father and how selfish, mean and cruel he had been to him. He felt very sorry. Father had built his wagon not only of wood and paint but of Love.
James then hugged his father and said he was sorry. He really liked the wagon and would take Gary Bear for ride in it tomorrow. He hugged Mother. Then his parents turned out the light.
"I love you mother and Father", he whispered. "I love you God. I love you Jesus. Happy birthday. Good night."
When Mother and Father tucked him in that night James said his prayers, he said, he was so sorry for being mean and thanked God for his family especially Uncle Dud.
